In 10 seconds? A new study has discovered that people who have been infected by SARS-CoV-2 before their vaccination build a stronger immune response towards mutant and variant strains of the virus – but authors warn against getting infected and then jabbed.

What do the results say? The researchers tracked 63 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 for 12 months. Of those 26 had also received at least one dose of an mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech). Their immune responses were monitored over time, and vaccinated individuals showed 30-fold higher levels of antibody count compared to unvaccinated individuals. Vaccinated people also had higher neutralizing activity (NT50) of 3,684 compared to 75 in unvaccinated individuals, showing a 50-fold increase!
